Muraled Meadows Style Guide

This is another example of my interactive slide deck creations. This time, it is a Style Guide for a fictional gardening company called Muraled Meadows.

Muraled Meadows is a gardening company which aims to give clients elegant flower arrangements based on the flower language. Artists I admire would select meaningful flowers in their nature-related work, and it is something I started incorporating into my own creative practice such as this project.

Logos and Packages

The style guide and logotype takes inspiration from plant-like, rococo designs. The monogram utilizes the Macondo Google Font, as placed symmetrically, the two M’s form a flower. Finally, speaking of flowers, the seed-packaging design takes inspiration from perfume packaging for an elegant look, accompanied by flowers that follow the product’s theme (Roses and Carnations for the Romance seeds, and Hyacinths and Lily of the Valleys for the Mourning seeds). The packages are placed in a photo I took of my mother's garden to fit the plant theme.

The style guide’s information is based on a short research report assigned to me to prepare for this one, in which I was prompted to look at real-life style guides and how they explain their logo usage and product creation. I chose Spotify, TikTok, and NASA, all of which gave a huge range of information that helped me craft each page’s story.

I used Adobe Illustrator for the Logo, Border Design, and Packaging design, Adobe Dimension and Photoshop for “putting the boxes together” and making the bag and other products, and Adobe InDesign for putting these images and storytelling text together.
